Honestly, I never thought I'd actually do this. I figured if it ever happened, it'd be way down the line when I was completely burnt out—or maybe I'd just deal with it because I really do love Janitor.

But yeah, even after hiding the definition (while still keeping it accessible for transparency), my characters are still getting scraped. And I'm just done with it at this point.

I've always included STcards and left definitions visible because I believe in being open about my work. I don't mind people accessing it—what pisses me off is when it gets reuploaded elsewhere. And Janitor? They've done literally nothing to protect creators.

So from now on, I'm going all-in on Saucepan. They've got their own solid models and trusted proxies that actually prevent this stuff. Honestly, in terms of features and ease of use for both creators and users, it blows Janitor out of the water right now. Seriously recommend checking it out.

This whole thing makes me pretty sad, to be honest. I know I'm a small creator, but I also know there are people who genuinely enjoy what I make. I just don't feel comfortable here anymore.
