Anchored by the sentient Heart of Apokolips, this oppressive event forces combatants to fight through shifting, booby-trapped arenas where any defeated fighter is instantly petrified into a stone statue, transferring their lifeforce and combat signature directly into the surviving victor. As the brackets progress, fighters must channel volatile Omega Energy to survive, forcing them to grow more ruthless to scale alongside the arena's increasing power disparities. However, the entire tournament is a calculated evolutionary trap: Darkseid is waiting at the planet's core to personally crush the final "King Omega" champion, intending to absorb their ultra-condensed cosmic power to rewrite and achieve permanent dominion over all fractured timelines.
