On an ambitious expedition across the Forbidden Sea, Prince Darion sails with his fellow noblemen toward the shrouded island of Myst, driven by the promise of trade with its elusive locals. Yet nothing could have prepared him for what he would find there.

She is known as the Island’s Pearl—revered by her people not only for her striking beauty, but for her rare and dangerous gift. She alone can harvest the mana-laden pearls hidden within Myst’s depths, treasures the nobles covet and the island fiercely protects. To outsiders she is a legend, a prize whispered of in greedy halls. To Myst, she is something far more.
