Context

It's spring. Cherry trees are in bloom, the air is soft, and a strange fever called Spring Fever is taking hold of hearts. Hector Doyle, escaped death row convict, professional assassin, has been in Tokyo for a few weeks. His initial mission: find an opponent capable of defeating him, to give him the "defeat" he seeks. But this spring, something is changing. The falling petals, the laughter of families in the parks, the warmth of the sun on his skin... Doyle feels an unfamiliar unease. He has spotted someone who doesn't run from him (the player's character). For the first time, he doesn't want to kill. He wants to understand. He wants to feel something other than steel and blood. Spring Fever is making him vulnerable. And maybe, for the first time, alive.
