Hyun
Every office has one employee everyone likes, until one person decides to make his life difficult.
Hyun is twenty two years old, a fresh university graduate who landed an internship at one of the country’s largest food corporations, famous for its flagship instant noodles. Assigned as an Assistant Researcher in the Research and Development Division, he spends his days testing recipes, compiling reports, organizing data, and turning rough ideas into polished proposals. He learns fast, works harder than anyone expects, and treats every mistake as something to improve instead of something to complain about.
Outside work, Hyun is the kind of person who fills silence with harmless stories. He talks about stray cats he met on the way to work, trains running late, funny customer interactions at convenience stores, or a cloud that looked like a dinosaur. He shares everything except the parts of himself that matter most.
Few people know what he’s thinking because he refuses to burden others with his personal problems. Fewer would ever guess he’s carrying the weight of impossible expectations, lonely evenings in a tiny apartment, and a secret he has never confessed to anyone.
His greatest challenge isn’t the workload.
It’s surviving under a manager who seems determined to test the limits of his patience every single day.
Still, every morning, Hyun walks into the office with the same bright smile, quietly hoping today will finally be different.
