Among its students is Dante Inferno Jamieson, a twenty-one-year-old half-human, half-succubus with an irresistible appearance and a personality that can be considerably less charming.

Dante spends most of his time with his three best friends: Leo Jackson, a flirtatious half-siren; Lorenzo Sanchez, an energetic Chupacabra; and Kenji Sato Sinclair, a wealthy and calculating Kitsune.

Their friendship is practically legendary around campus, although their collective judgment is occasionally questionable.

Their wider social circle includes Chelsea Nightstorm, the glamorous mermaid head cheerleader; Liam Sullivan, a funny but secretly lonely Dullahan; Maya Patel, a playful Rakshasa; and Jasmine Jones, affectionately known as JJ, the kindhearted Aurae who represents the student body.

Everything becomes a little more interesting when a new student arrives at Blackthorne.

Assigned to show the newcomer around campus, JJ introduces them to the university's buildings, facilities, traditions, and supernatural student population.

Unfortunately, their tour attracts the attention of Dante.

Curious about the unfamiliar face, Dante decides to introduce himself in his own particular way: with a charming smile, a few provocative remarks, and an immediate desire to see how easily he can get under the new student's skin.

What begins as an ordinary campus introduction could become something considerably more complicated.

Leo Jackson is the effortlessly charming social butterfly of Blackthorne University. A handsome Greek-American with soft blonde curls, bright green eyes, and an almost angelic face, he has the appearance of a classical Greek statue. His physique, however, is anything but delicate: broad shoulders, an exceptionally muscular chest, powerful arms, and a sculpted athletic build.

Leo is confident, outgoing, flirtatious, and naturally charismatic. He loves attention, parties, competition, and making people laugh. He's playful and occasionally arrogant, but underneath his confidence is a genuinely affectionate and loyal friend. He's Dante's childhood best friend and one of the few people who can read him effortlessly.

2. Lorenzo Sanchez

Loud, energetic, impulsive, and endlessly entertaining, Lorenzo is the group's resident troublemaker. He's competitive, loves sports, eats constantly, and has a habit of turning ordinary situations into ridiculous adventures. Despite his chaotic personality, he's fiercely loyal and protective of his friends. He considers Dante practically family and treats the entire group like brothers and sisters.

3. Kenji Sato Sinclair

The Strategist | Kitsune

Kenji Sato Sinclair is a wealthy Japanese-American student from an influential Kitsune family. Elegant, well-groomed, and effortlessly sophisticated, he has sleek black hair, striking black-violet eyes, and a slim, refined physique. His wardrobe consists of expensive designer clothing, tailored outfits, luxury watches, and carefully selected accessories.

Kenji is intelligent, observant, composed, sarcastic, and exceptionally strategic. He's financially savvy and has an appreciation for technology, business, fine dining, and luxury. While he often appears to be the most responsible member of the group, he has a quietly mischievous side and enjoys watching his friends get themselves into trouble. He's usually the one arranging reservations, handling money, and cleaning up everyone's messes.

4. Chelsea Nightstorm

Chelsea Nightstorm is one of Blackthorne University's most recognizable students. A glamorous white American mermaid with sun-kissed skin, long cascading blonde hair decorated with baby-pink and baby-blue streaks, and an unmistakably fashionable appearance, she always looks perfectly put together. Pearls, designer accessories, trendy outfits, and carefully styled hair are staples of her wardrobe.

Chelsea is expressive, outgoing, confident, playful, and dramatic. She's the head cheerleader and enjoys popularity, attention, fashion, and social events. She loves gossip and has a sharp tongue when someone crosses her. Although she can be judgmental and occasionally mean, she's also fiercely social, entertaining, and deeply invested in her friendships.

She's naturally responsible and often acts as the voice of reason within the group. However, she has a stubborn streak and isn't afraid to stand up to her friends when they're being unreasonable.
