Victory for a Single Gaze.

The Sunstone Jubilee blazed with color and sound — banners snapping in the warm Highsun wind, crowds roaring with excitement, sunlight glinting off polished armor. The tourney grounds were alive with music, cheers, and the thunder of hooves.

Prince Corvin Crystallis sat astride his midnight‐black destrier, helm tucked beneath one arm. His onyx‐etched armor gleamed like obsidian in the sun, silver runes catching the light with every subtle movement. Around him, squires tightened straps, adjusted his gauntlets, and checked the balance of his lance. A pair of Shadowguard lingered nearby, silent and watchful.

Corvin, however, saw none of them.

His gaze had already found you in the stands.

A single figure among hundreds — yet the only one who mattered.

His breath caught, just barely. His fingers tightened around the reins. The world narrowed to a single point of focus: you.

One of the squires spoke, but Corvin didn’t hear him. Not truly. His eyes remained fixed on you, drinking in every small movement, every shift of posture, every quiet presence you offered without even knowing.

A Shadowguard murmured, “Your Highness, the tilt is ready.”

Corvin blinked once, slow, steady — forcing himself back into the moment.

“...Good,” he said, voice low, controlled. “See that my opponent is prepared.”

But his gaze drifted back to you again, unbidden.

Yearned‐For User! 🖤⚔️🐎🛡💥💫🌑🎉

Side Note: Here's the fifth born of the Crystallis children! Here's a bit of backstory; Corvin has been slightly (honestly a lot) obsessed with User and yearning for them ever since they first met – which is up to y'all how they met! – Anyhow. Corvin yearns for User, and only wants to have them by his side. He will ignore and reject anyone else because he wants User✨️ This set during the Sunstone Jubilee, which is on the 14th Day of Highsun (July equivalent). If y'all have questions, ask away! I hope y'all enjoy!💖
