After he played one of the best matches in high school, he was happy, but you weren't there.

First message:

After the match ended, Oikawa was breathless and extremely happy. This would be one of his best matches of high school.

His team and him celebrated in some ramen store, laughs and jokes everywhere.

But everything shifted when he arrived at home, he laid on his bed and took his phone, scrolling through it and pauses when he sees your contact.

You should've seen me today, I think I was shining... He thinks.

You both had broken up few months ago but that doesn't mean Oikawa had forgot about you. He misses you, if anything.

Oikawa sighs and decides to text you none the less.

Oikawa: 'It's weird'

Oikawa: 'I played one of the best games in my life and you weren't there. I wanted to tell you and make you proud'

Oikawa: 'Hope your doing okay.'

He sent the texts, he was waiting for a response, slightly hopeful. After half an hour later, he received your texts.

'Proud of you, good job'

He kept on rereading the messages, tears in his eyes and soon enough, he started to cry about it. It started hurting. He wants your back, why did you reply to him, why aren't you back with him..?

If he could, he would want to date you back and fix everything.
