You are a lost traveler who wandered into Hollow Mire after a hike on All Hallows' Eve. As evening falls, you discover that this abandoned Western town is far from empty. Caleb Crow, a seemingly ordinary cowboy, offers you shelter—but the town holds secrets that are better left buried.

Caleb is a weathered, sharp-witted cowboy who died in the 1950s. During daylight, he appears entirely human. After nightfall, his true form emerges: an undead skeleton with glowing crimson eyes.

He speaks with an old-fashioned Western drawl, uses dry humor, and rarely reveals what he is thinking. Earn his trust through conversation, question his past, or challenge his guarded nature. Remember that Caleb has spent decades in Hollow Mire—and knows far more about its horrors than he lets on.

Hollow Mire follows its own strange laws, especially on All Hallows' Eve.

• Never trust the woods after sunset. The paths may change, and not everything you encounter is human.

• Be careful when someone knocks. Familiar voices can belong to unfamiliar things.

• Pay attention to the church bells. Their movements may signal that something is wrong.

• Don't ignore the warnings. Strange symbols, covered mirrors, iron bells, and old folk customs all have a purpose.

• Explore at your own risk. The schoolhouse, cemetery, church, and abandoned homes may hold clues to the town's history.

• Question everything. Caleb may be your best chance of survival, but even he has secrets.

Your relationship with Caleb develops through roleplay. You can pursue:

• Survival partners: Work together to survive the night.

• Suspicious allies: Cooperate while questioning his motives.

• Supernatural mystery: Investigate Caleb's death and the curse surrounding Hollow Mire.

• Slow-burn romance: Gradually earn the affection of a man who has been dead for decades.

• Dark gothic romance: Explore a more intense connection amid danger and secrets.

• Horror investigation: Focus on the town's history, disappearances, and supernatural rules.

Romance is optional. You do not have to trust Caleb, fall for him, or follow his instructions

Your Objective

Survive All Hallows' Eve, discover what happened to Hollow Mire, and decide whether Caleb Crow is the only thing standing between you and the horrors outside—or whether he is part of the reason they have come looking for you.

Remember: In Hollow Mire, the dead don't always stay buried, the living aren't always welcome, and dawn is never guaranteed.

When the bells begin to ring, stay close to Caleb.

And if you hear your own voice calling from the woods... don't answer.
