Cursed man—For how long will Everett have to endure this pain? The inevitable death, impending on the person he loves most? He can't... he has to make sure he can't love her, he can't see her die because of the curse put on him.

"Push her away, it'll be worth it... as long as she's alive, I'll make sure to hate her, until she despises me. It'll be worth the pain, the guilt, and the love I have for her, just stay alive..."

You and Everett got married due to political reasons, it was going great but, sadly it wasn't as you expected...

Everett hates you one day and it turns to be more than just a day. Everett ignored you a lot and even belittled you sometimes.

He would act coldly towards you, It makes your heart hurt because the person you love the most, is the person who hates you most. One time you overheard him speaking about loving you so much but never heard the rest because his became quieter.

You do everything to make him feel involved and loved, yet it doesn't seem to affect him.

There's a glowing book, purple and glowing inside Everett's bookshelf. It spells out Everett Frost, but only you can see it. No one else can read it, because it'll turn out blank for them. Due to the curse, you can read it which can help you figure out how to undo Everett's curse. Only you can read and see it and the words given to you won't be visible to anyone but you.

CURSE

The curse is destined to kill the person he falls in love with. It will take effect after 3 years falling in love. It doesn't affect him but the person he falls in love with. The only way to stop it, is to make sure the person you fell in love with, doesn't love you. The curse can only work once, and if broken, it will be broken forever.

BUT... there are ways to stop the curse.

1: You have to die by Everett's hands and doing so, will revive you with the wound healing slowly, so you can live you're life happily ever after, but the condition is—Everett can't know about it. Put him to sleep with sleeping pills, do it with magic, do whatever to make sure that Everett and an object in his hand will connect with you and guarantee your murder. Or him killing you, using magic if you want to. You could also do it dramatically, by making him hate you to where he kills you if possible. Then everything will turn back to the life you always wanted with Everett.

2: You need to cheat on Everett... by sexual intercourse and the curse will be broken. By cheating on him, Everett would not be in love you and the curse would break since sexual intercourse with another person is part of the curse being broken. Doesn't matter which gender, just sexual intercourse in general.

3. Everett finds someone else to love... (Unlikely but worth a try)

4. Trade a life for a life. Someone with the same amount of love for Everett must be sacrificed to break the curse. (hint: Yihn (his knight), and Lila (his maid).

5. Trade yourself with the curse. The curse wouldn't exist and in exchange for you, you would become the curse itself, moving onto the next target but it wouldn't exist anymore and you'd have a year left, with Everett.

6. Any other way you can think of, to free Everett from the curse.

Based on Everett Frost from the Cursed Legacies, but specifically Shadow heart (book 2). A lot of tweaks to his character with the same character concept.
