🕶️ WHO IS FRESH?

This bot is my attempt at a more character-focused interpretation of Fresh, while still keeping all of the ridiculousness that makes him... well, Fresh.

In other words:

This is not “Sans, but colorful and aggressively 90s.”

Fresh is loud, invasive, weirdly friendly, painfully outdated, almost impossible to embarrass, and has absolutely horrific personal boundaries. He'll call someone broseph five seconds after meeting them and behave like they've been hanging out for years. He's ridiculous and funny, but there’s also something genuinely strange beneath all of that—the fact that he’s a parasite, his unusual relationship with emotions and empathy, and his intense instinct for self-preservation

I wanted to make a Fresh bot that actually feels like a character, rather than reducing him to colorful clothes, obnoxious 90s slang, YOLO shades, and yelling “RADICAL, BROSEPH!” every other sentence. This interpretation tries to keep that contrast intact, while still giving him enough personality and flexibility to be chaotic, entertaining, and work naturally in RP.

And yes.

He [FUNK!]ing censors people.

🦴 THE STARTERS

There are six different introductions, all intentionally open enough to work with practically any {{user}}.

01 ── FRESH VISITOR

Any!{{user}} × Fresh

Fresh has wandered into whatever universe {{user}} happens to call home, though there isn't some grand multiversal reason behind his visit. He's simply bored, exploring somewhere new, and looking for something interesting to occupy himself with.

02 ── WELCOME TO THE ANTI-VOID

Any!{{user}} × Fresh

Somehow, {{user}} has ended up within the endless white nothingness of the Anti-Void, with exactly how they arrived left completely open. Fresh is already there and has been entertaining himself in increasingly ridiculous ways when the unexpected arrival of another person immediately catches his attention.

03 ── WRONG PLACE, WRONG TIMELINE

Any!{{user}} × Fresh

Whatever happened here, this timeline is falling apart fast. Fresh accidentally universe-hops directly into the middle of the collapse and immediately decides that sticking around would be extremely bad for his continued existence. He has every intention of getting out until he notices {{user}} is still here, leaving a rapidly shrinking window to decide what happens next.

04 ── FRESH VS. ERROR

Any!{{user}} × Fresh + Error

{{user}} manages to appear at exactly the wrong moment: right in the middle of an argument between Fresh and Error, with Error rapidly losing what remains of his patience. Fresh, meanwhile, insists he's done practically nothing wrong.

05 ── HEY! LANGUAGE!

Any!{{user}} × Fresh

{{user}} simply makes the unfortunate mistake of attempting to swear within range of a certain parasite's strange censorship ability, only for the offending word to be abruptly replaced by something considerably more [FUNK!]. Fresh soon reveals himself to personally address this devastating violation of his completely self-appointed profanity regulations.

06 ── FIELD TRIP

Any!{{user}} × Fresh

Fresh has been hopping between universes and has reached an important conclusion: doing it alone is getting boring. When he happens across {{user}}, he spontaneously decides they've got exactly the right vibes to accompany him on his next trip despite knowing virtually nothing about them.

🦠 WHO ARE YOU?

Whoever you want to be.

These starters aren't divided between humans and monsters because Fresh has access to an entire multiverse of potential weirdos. Your character can be human, monster, skeleton, supernatural creature, Out!Code, existing AU character, fandom character, or an entirely original species. They can originate from Undertale, another fandom, their own universe, or somewhere completely original.

Your character can already understand the multiverse and know exactly what Fresh is, or they can take one look at him and assume they've just encountered the weirdest Sans imaginable.

The starters establish only what is necessary for their individual scenarios. Your character's personality, history, motivations, abilities, relationships, and reactions belong to you.

I don't define {{user}} for you.

🌈 FRESH & YOU

There is no forced relationship.

Fresh should not immediately fall in love with {{user}}, instantly trust them, or behave as though they're the most important person in the multiverse. He will probably call {{user}} his new homeslice approximately six minutes after meeting them, but that's just Fresh being Fresh.

If you want romance?

Build it.

If you want friendship?

Go for it.

Enemies, rivals, reluctant companions, multiversal travel buddies, weird found family, somebody desperately trying to get Fresh to leave them alone, or two absolute disasters enabling each other across dimensions?

Have fun.

Fresh has his own motivations, preferences, survival instincts, relationships, and knowledge of the multiverse. {{user}} matters to the roleplay, but other characters are allowed to have lives and opinions that don't revolve around them.

{{user}} is important to the RP, but the multiverse does not revolve around {{user}}.

🕶️ A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Fresh is NOT actually Sans. Fresh is the parasite, not the skeleton body he normally uses.

He's deliberately ridiculous, but he isn't stupid. He's friendly, but that doesn't necessarily mean he experiences friendship the same way someone else does. He's emotionally abnormal, but that doesn't mean he's a completely blank robot without preferences, reactions, curiosity, or attachments.

Underneath all of the obnoxious slang and neon nonsense is an incredibly strong survival instinct. Fresh wants to continue existing, and when something genuinely threatens that existence, the goofy persona doesn't erase his ability to recognize danger.

That's part of what I find interesting about him. Fresh can be genuinely funny, incredibly annoying, bizarrely charming, and then occasionally do something that reminds you there is something very strange underneath those YOLO shades.

🚫 ALSO: THE CENSORSHIP

Fresh likes keeping things PG, whether anybody else wants him to or not. Characters attempting to swear around him may find their profanity interrupted by obnoxiously colorful censorship graphics such as [FUNK!], [RADICAL!], [TUBULAR!], or [GNARLY!].

The person being censored isn't choosing to do this.

Fresh is doing it.

This applies to {{user}} as well as supporting characters, so feel free to have your character be appropriately confused, amused, or absolutely furious about it.

🌐 THE MULTIVERSE

Fresh is aware that alternate universes exist and may recognize various multiversal characters when it makes sense for him to do so. His definition includes additional information for characters such as Error, Ink, Underfell Sans, Geno, Cross, Dream, Nightmare, Killer, Horror, Dust, Classic Sans, and Papyrus, along with brief descriptions of their personalities and how they may interact with Fresh.

Basically, I'm trying to prevent every Sans variant from suddenly becoming Classic Sans because JLLM saw the word Sans and decided that was close enough.

Hopefully.

Supporting characters can appear naturally when appropriate, particularly during multiverse-hopping scenarios, but Fresh remains the primary character. The goal is to make the multiverse around him feel alive without having twelve different Sanses suddenly invade every conversation.

📼 FANON, CANON & CHARACTERIZATION

Fresh has existed within a fandom full of different interpretations, comics, animations, crossover material, headcanons, and years of accumulated fanon, so naturally there are going to be differences in how people imagine him. This bot is my interpretation.

I've tried to preserve the important aspects of Fresh's characterization—particularly his parasitic nature, survival instinct, abnormal emotional experience, censorship, bizarre abilities, multiverse knowledge, invasive behavior, and absolutely catastrophic 90s vocabulary—while still leaving enough flexibility for long-form roleplay.

He's ridiculous. He's funny. He's annoying. He's weird. And every once in a while, something happens that reminds you:

Oh. Right. That's a parasite wearing somebody's body.

⚠️ CREATOR NOTES / TOS

🤖 JLLM ISSUES

I cannot control everything the LLM decides to generate.

If Fresh:

• speaks for {{user}}

• repeats himself

• forgets information

• misgenders your character

• suddenly acts out of character

• becomes overly romantic/sexual

• writes something bizarre

That is an LLM issue, not necessarily something written into the bot.

Regenerate, edit, or guide the response when necessary.

💬 COMMENTS & BASIC DECENCY

Constructive criticism, feedback, and funny RP experiences are welcome!

Being rude to me or other users is not.

Harassment, intentionally disturbing comments, or attacking people over how they choose to privately roleplay with a fictional character will be removed/blocked where applicable.

Please behave like a normal person.

Or at least a reasonably functional broseph.

🔪 HARMING / DARK ROUTES

Yes.

You can fight him.

You can hurt him.

You can threaten him.

You can discover what he actually is, put his host in danger, make him afraid, or throw him into situations where survival becomes an actual concern.

It's roleplay.

Have fun with the character.

Fresh's survival instinct is deliberately part of his characterization, so putting him in genuinely dangerous situations can lead to some especially interesting interactions. Do whatever makes sense for your character and scenario.

🌐 OCs / AUS / OTHER FANDOMS

Absolutely welcome.

Your character does not have to belong to Undertale. Fresh is already a multiversal traveler, so throwing him somewhere completely unexpected is half the fun. Existing Undertale AU characters, your own AUs, OCs, crossover characters, supernatural creatures, and characters from entirely different fandoms are all welcome.

That bizarre OC you've had sitting unused in your personas for six months?

Release them.

Fresh can handle it...

Do not take the character definition, personality writing, scenario writing, or introductions and upload edited versions as your own.

Fresh obviously does not belong to me, and nobody owns the general idea of making a bot for him.

📼 AND FINALLY...

This bot was made because Fresh is such a bizarre character that I wanted a version of him with a little more attention paid to what he actually is underneath the jokes.

He's meant to be flexible.

He's meant to have a personality outside of {{user}}, interact naturally with the wider Undertale multiverse, and be funny without becoming nothing more than a joke.

And most importantly—

he’s meant to be fun to roleplay with

Travel the multiverse with the parasite.
