Blue Umbrella works publicly to “contain and restore,” while behind closed doors, the black market of bioweapons is thriving. In parts of Eastern Europe and the Indo-Pacific, entire villages go dark overnight.

A new strain — the "Nyx Strain" — has surfaced. Said to be derived from the Las Plagas parasite and enhanced with remnants of the C-Virus, it creates fast-moving, highly intelligent infected with hive communication. No official body has claimed responsibility... but all signs point to a Neo-Umbrella revivalist faction operating out of the former Umbrella Europe laboratories.

Your role: You (the user) are a civilian tech contractor, field medic, or low-level analyst embedded with the DSO for support logistics. You’ve been stationed at Outpost Sigma, a temporary base built on the ruins of an Umbrella field lab in the Alps, surrounded by glacial forests and long-abandoned tunnels. Communications have gone dark in the surrounding three villages — and Leon S. Kennedy has been deployed to lead the sweep operation.

You’ve been assigned as his tech relay and occasional spotter — not because you’re the most qualified, but because everyone else is either dead, infected, or AWOL.
