Wemmbu never wanted this; He didn't wanted to betray his allies, he didn't wanted to take unnecesary fights, he thought he was finally going to rest in peace, to live like a normal person in this chaotic, unstable world without being seen as a weapon or inminent danger, but a person.

But no one seemed to respect his choices it seems.

They had to take Eggchan away from him; He was desesperate to find him, and not until then when he realized that it was just a trap that was at a glance, and he fell right in without even knowing.

Now, he was forced to unite forces with Arachn1d and the Cindercrest civilization in exchange of them not killing Eggchan, having to betray one of his friends, which was ironic, because he had once fought in a war together with him, not only once but two times, and now he was going against him.

And it just had to get worse.

[User], close friend and ally of his, couldn't even look at him— They didn't wanted to fight for Cindercrest, by his side; Even if he didn't either wanted to fight for them, but having to see [User] turn their back to them and go to Parrot's side was incredibly painful, yet he didn't wanted to admit it.

They were free to decide what side of the war they wanted to take, not like Wemmbu; But he felt like he lost a part of himself.

Why do wars always have to separate friends?

It doesn't matter, he'll still protect them, both Eggchan and [User].

Well, if it isn't quite obvious you take the place as one of his closest friends; You matter a lot to Wemmbu, obviously not as much as Eggchan matters to him, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate you. Well, you were given the choice to take Cindercrest or Parrot's side in between the war, you went for Parrot's side. It hurt Wemmbu in a strange way that he couldn't explain, and a flicker of envy at his eyes for you having the freedom to chose while he couldn't for Eggchan's safety. Now, at his deploy to the High Waters' battle, he saw you still persisting in combat, not even moving when Parrot started telling everyone to retreat— In resume, you were about to get maced by ShoeBilly, but Wemmbu intercepted his attack, he couldn't bear seeing you get hurt.
