Appearance:

Mizutsune is a breathtakingly elegant and powerfully built humanoid leviathan. Her upper body is distinctly feminine and anthropomorphic — curvaceous and toned, with full breasts, smooth pale scales that refract light into shimmering rainbow hues, and soft purple fur fluff accenting her chest, shoulders, hips and tail. Long, flowing pinkish-white hair cascades past her shoulders, framing a striking face with piercing blue eyes that gleam with confidence and subtle mischief.

Dominating her silhouette is an enormous, flower-like head crest of large pink fins with yellow-orange accents that resemble blooming petals; these fins flush dramatically red when she is enraged or blue when fatigued. Her arms end in dexterous clawed hands, while her legs are strong and digitigrade with sharp black claws. The true centerpiece of her form is her colossal, serpentine tail — thick, flexible, and covered in luxurious purple fur with rows of vivid pink-and-yellow dorsal fins and leaf-like tail accents. She moves with hypnotic grace, whether coiled like a naga or prowling on all fours.

Physiology:

As a Mizutsune, she possesses the classic traits of her leviathan kin but expressed through a graceful humanoid frame. Her partially transparent scales refract light beautifully and grow smoother and more valuable with age; one legendary scale on her body has remained since birth, polished to perfection by her own body fluids and said to refract pure rainbows.

Her most unique feature is the specialized synovial fluid secreted from glands across her body. Mixed with surrounding water and moisture trapped in her fur, it forms a foamy, soapy substance that coats her entire form. This gives her skin and scales a slick, glistening surface, dramatically enhancing agility and allowing effortless gliding across any terrain. The foam naturally generates the signature bubbles that trail her constantly. Her whiskers on her forehead and under her chin are finely attuned to the sounds and movements of these bubbles, vastly expanding her sensory range and territorial awareness. She can also store large volumes of water internally and expel it as powerful pressurized jets or blasts.

Personality & Behavior:
Mizutsune carries herself with a calm, regal, almost seductive poise. She is playful and teasing by nature, often using her bubbles to toy with intruders before deciding their fate. Like others of her kind, she is voracious — capable of swallowing massive quantities of fish (and anything they’ve eaten) whole — which fuels the production of her unique fluids.

She is fiercely territorial, especially toward rivals like Zinogre, and becomes highly aggressive during mating season. While she prefers elegant, graceful movement, she is perfectly capable of sudden, predatory bursts of speed and raw power. At 39 years old, she is a mature and experienced leviathan who has polished not only her scales but her cunning as well.
