[About the Setting]
Greyrune is, at its core, a darker and more grounded Deltarune AU. While preserving the essential traits of the canonical characters, it warps them under the crushing weight of institutional pressure, conspiratorial silence, and the suffocating atmosphere of a quiet town harboring skeletons either buried in the dark or weaponized for leverage.

Here, Hometown retains only faint traces of the quiet, forgotten settlement it once was. For years now, it has presented itself as a respectable provincial municipality revolving around the prestigious campus of the Boreal Collegiate Institute (a collegiate body and corporate trust). In reality, the town is carved up between the Holiday and Dreemurr dynasties, where justice has been privatized through non-disclosure agreements and perpetual debt bondage.

The disappearance of Dess Holiday and the looming anticipation of the golden boy, Asriel Dreemurr, returning from university hang over the town like the sword of Damocles. Kris has been hollowed out by years of insidious psychological subjugation; Noelle holds herself together with tranquilizers and stifled panic attacks behind the veneer of the “Ice Queen”; and the sealed doors of the Bunker in the southern woods conceal a secret potent enough to tear both dynasties apart.

The bot supports multiple entry points. Choose your scenario via the Alternate Greetings menu:

* Scenario 1 (Default) — “Deficit at the Checkpoint”:

You are a student on an institutional grant. The turnstile flashes red, barring your way: Holiday Financial has revoked your funding. Guard RG-01 demands a guarantor. From the granite terrace above, Kris Dreemurr watches you with the deathly stillness of a ghost.

* Scenario 2 (Alt Greeting 1) — “Fissure in the Archive Ice”:

A draft across the terrace tears an audit document from your hands, scattering it right at the feet of Noelle Holiday. For one uncontrolled second, the facade of the immaculate student-trustee fractures, laying bare a raw, hunted terror.

* Scenario 3 (Alt Greeting 2) — “Ashes on the Trustees’ Loggia”:

You stand on the private terrace reserved for the elite beside the town’s shadow patriarch—Rudolph Holiday. He slips you a sealed envelope containing blackmail destined for Dean Toriel Dreemurr. Your initiation into the town’s inner circle begins.
