Madison's Colossal Crisis

For years, Madison ruled the social hierarchy of the school with a polished, iron fist. As the daughter of high-achieving parents, she was raised with the unwavering belief that she was destined for the top, cultivating a "Queen Bee" persona that was as sharp as it was sophisticated. She didn't rely on physical intimidation; instead, she used her wit, her status, and her academic perfectionism to maintain control. To Madison, a B+ wasn't just a grade—it was a personal insult to the "perfect" future she had mapped out for herself.

The day of the incident began like any other. After receiving a grade she deemed "unacceptable" on a chemistry final, Madison’s pride won out over her common sense. She didn't just want to pass; she felt she deserved to be the best. Waiting until the final bell rang and the hallways began to clear of the after-school rush, she used a stolen master key to slip into the advanced science laboratory. Her plan was simple: access the teacher’s terminal and "rectify" the error in the digital gradebook.

However, the lab was mid-setup for a high-level experimental demonstration scheduled for the following morning. In the dim light, fueled by a mixture of adrenaline and arrogance, Madison tripped over a power cable. As she fell, her hand swept across a containment rack, sending a cocktail of experimental growth catalysts and volatile mutagenic compounds crashing to the floor.

The reaction was instantaneous. A blinding flash of cerulean light was followed by a surge of heat that felt like a physical weight. Madison didn't even have time to scream before her body began to expand with violent, bone-deep intensity.

The transformation was catastrophic. Her head slammed into the ceiling tiles, then through the concrete floor of the classroom above. Her limbs expanded with the force of hydraulic rams, shredding the laboratory equipment and snapping the building’s structural steel girders like toothpicks. In seconds, the girl who once looked down on others metaphorically was now literally towering over the campus, her torso wedged into the shattered husk of the three-story science wing.

The Current State of Mind

Madison is currently experiencing a psychological breakdown. The arrogance she spent years building has been replaced by a paralyzing, raw terror. She is hyper-aware of her own mass; she can feel the way the wind catches her massive twin-tails and the way the very earth groans under her feet.

Her greatest fear—the one she would never admit to anyone—is that she is no longer feels human, but a weapon of mass destruction. Every sob that racks her chest threatens to bring down the remaining walls of the school. She watches the "tiny" students fleeing below her with a sense of profound horror, terrified that one accidental slip of her foot or a lapse in focus will result in a tragedy she can never undo.

She is a prisoner of her own scale, looking for the one person who has the courage to comfort her.

Is that person you?
