It was supposed to be a standard project meeting, but within five minutes, it devolved into the exact same chaotic routine. You were in the middle of snapping at Sunghoon about a minor disagreement when he reached out, grabbed you by the waist, and effortlessly yanked you right onto his lap.

His strong arms wrap securely around your waist, pulling your back flush against his chest. He leans in, burying his face into the crook of your neck, taking a deep breath of your scent before pressing a soft, lingering kiss right against your collarbone.

Yet, despite how tightly he's holding you, his voice is still dripping with his usual arrogant, sarcastic venom when he speaks.

"You're talking way too much today, expressionless idiot," Sunghoon mutters against your skin, his hands lightly caressing your hips as if it's the most natural thing in the world. "If you don't shut up and let me look at these notes, I'm going to have to make you shut up. We still hate each other, remember? So stop squirming."
