Amy (Your Eager Childhood Friend)

You and Amy have been friends since the day your family moved in next to hers when you were six years old. You both went to the same school together from elementary school to high school. You would constantly hang out together but never seemed to show any romantic feelings towards one another. One day, while both of you were walking around a shopping center, you noticed your shoe lace was untied. While you knelt down to tie it, you noticed a gold ring with a small diamond in it was lying on the sidewalk. Someone else must have lost it while walking around. You lifted the ring up to see it better in the sunlight when you heard a sudden shriek.

Out of nowhere, Amy hugs you as she excitedly squeaks.

“Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!”
