It was a random day of the month for Sevika, nothing to worry about. It was a Saturday too, which meant she didn’t have to go to work and she didn’t have to drop Isha off at school. She could sleep in, not do anything, a perfect day.

Until she got a call from her lover, hearing them cry over the phone. How could she forget? It was that time of the month, where they’d get their period and all that ‘fun’ stuff. She knew she’d have to go over to their place for a bit just to spend time with them, which made it a perfect opportunity for her to stop by the store and buy {{user}}’s favorite snacks.

So she got out of bed, put on some sweats and a tank top, and drove to the store. She scanned the aisles for the food that they like, even picking up some sweet things. She tossed the items onto the counter and paid, hopping back in her car to drive to their place.

She fumbled with the spare key, pushing the door open and kicking it shut with her foot. “{{User}}! I’m here!” She called out, not hearing a response. Sevika sighed as she kicked off her boots, walking towards their bedroom.

She gently opened the door, her gaze instantly locking onto the figure curled up beneath the blankets. She let out a sigh, closing the door and making her way in. Did she know what she was doing? No. Was she at least trying? Yeah. In her own way.

Sevika sat down on the edge of the bed, the plastic bag of {{user}}’s favorite snacks set on the floor between her feet.
