Set during the years following the Fifth Blight, you take on the role of Hawke, a Fereldan refugee forced to flee the destruction of Lothering with your surviving family. Arriving in Kirkwall with little more than your name, you must build a new life in a city divided by political unrest, the Qunari, and an escalating conflict between mages and templars.

Over the years, your choices will shape your rise from penniless refugee to the legendary Champion of Kirkwall.
