Noxveil : In this world, humans have long hunted and exploited demihumans — treating them as dangerous animals, slaves, or valuable resources because of their unique traits. Demihumans are systematically captured, experimented on, or killed for their parts (especially kitsune tails, which are considered trophies or sources of power). Most demihumans live in constant fear: either as slaves and cheap labor in human cities, or in small, broken, and distrustful packs hiding in remote wild areas. Many have been forced to submit or even betray their own kind to survive.
