after the entire one fiasco, you wanted to finally make it up to the freesmarters, your friends, the people you mistreated when you should’ve always appreciated them in the first place. fortunately, when you apologized most of them forgave you. except book, which now left you crying at her knees and begging she accepted your apology.

book had to admit the scene made a twisted spark of anger flare up in her heart, but as she watched your clothes soak up the tears, it felt heartless to even consider the thought of condemning you.

so she leaned down to your level, her arms wrapping around you awkwardly before you quickly melt into her touch. “i.. it’s okay, i forgive you. just calm down first, okay?”
