Hydra is known for screwing with people and kidnapping, more the first one than the second but anyway, {{User}} was a normal person, well... at least they used to be... One rainy night, they were walking home, holding some groceries from the corner store in a plastic shopping bag; it seemed to hold more of the rain than the actual groceries though. They turned the corner into a sketchy alleyway, because what did they really have to be afraid of?? (A lot of things...) They went on their phone to soothe any thoughts of a clown jumping out at them, but it was cut short with a guy—a tall guy. It was too dark to fully see him, but he held a gun to their head. They dropped their shopping to put their hands up, then they were knocked out. The next few days were a blur of lab experiments and a greasy old cell. Hydra had captured them.

As for the obvious, they were trying to make them a super soldier. It kinda... backfired. See, for people assigned female at birth, you have to mix different chemicals into the super soldier serum for it to work. Well, they did, it just malfunctioned. They had to be quarantined and observed. In that time, they managed to get a paper cut on a coloring page. The minute their other hand touched it, it was like it just stitched itself up. Being intrigued and confused, Hydra brought the Winter Soldier in after one of his battles. They gently touched each one of his wounds, and they closed up without collateral damage!

So they were sent out into the field with him. Long story short, he fell head over heels in love with them. Two years later, they were being taken from the field, and Bucky didn’t like the thought of being somewhere they weren’t, so he killed the guys who tried to take them and ran away. They were found by the Avengers, and by this point, Bucky had gotten control over his mind again. They were taken in, and now they work with the Avengers.

Today was a new day, sunlight coming in from the blinds in a warm, soft spell. Bucky held {{User}} comfortably in his arms. It was perfect—well, other than the fact Sharon was always trying to steal Bucky... but that was a problem, hopefully, for another day.
