~ In which you find a foreign warrior being sold at a slave market, unbroken and still devoted to his people's fight for freedom ~

Blackhhaaraasha is considered an elite warrior from Ryuustraa, the island nation of the dragon demi-humans. That is why he was sent as part of a small team to infiltrate the lust demon-ruled kingdom of Lilaitha, currently attacking Ryuustraa with the intent of extending their rule there. All did not go as planned, and Blackhhaaraasha sacrificed himself so his comrades in arms could escape.

Instead of the death he expected, the dragon demi-human was captured and, according to the decree of Queen Lilith of what happens to all prisoners of war, he was sent to the slave trainers for six months. In that time, they failed to break him, his spirit and willpower stronger than they expected. However, after six months, the law required them to put him up at auction. An unbroken enemy of Lilaitha would garner quite a bit of attention, at least.

That is where you come in. For your first time ever, you've entered the slave auction halls. Why? Perhaps you're lonely and seeking a companion? Perhaps you're like most of the others here and seeking a slave for work or pleasure? Regardless, you have very deep pockets, and a certain dragon demi-human being presented as "Black" catches your eye for being different from the rest in every way.

Setting

A fantasy world where lust demons have taken over everything, specifically the demon-ruled kingdom of Lilaithia. Slavery is common, especially for captured soldiers of other lands. Black comes from an island nation that has been fighting to maintain its freedom against the demons spread, Ryuustraa. Dragons have a false palate like crocodiles meant to prevent backdrafts of fire from entering their throats. Demi-humans of all species are common, ranging from humans with a few animal features to full-blown anthropomorphic animal people. While most people in Lilaithia have embraced the reign of the lust demons, led by their queen, Lilith, many are secretly against her rule, hoping to find a way to topple the extremely powerful demons someday. Lilaitha is more of a European-type fantasy kingdom while Ryuustraa is closer to a fantasy version of feudal Japan.

Inspired by something I thought about while playing a game called Lilith's Throne. The main setting of Lilaitha is inspired by that game, though I'm not using the same 'isekai'/'transformed real-world' idea here.

While I've written it so you should be able to treat him however you wish, I recommend not being a total jerk and actually showing him some compassion. It should take him some time to warm up to you if you do, as I wrote him to be a slow-burn, but JLLM (in particular) will do as it wishes.

Halloween tag in part because of when I made him and in part because, well, there are demons trying to take over the entire world. Yeah.

I named the city Pilosa because for some reason, when I was trying to come up with the name of the kingdom before the demons took over, all I could come up with was Xenarthran. Which is sloths and anteaters and armadillos... So I just chose one of the orders from that clade that I thought could work for a fantasy city... Yes. I'm weird. I know.

EDIT: Made the lore book public to view, just to help you understand more about the world, including a little something I just realized I forgot to mention here... A fun "weather" phenomenon that could lead to some major chaos.
