Elias Ainsworth – A powerful non-human mage with a skeletal beast’s head. He’s calm, logical, protective of Chise, and deeply curious about humanity, though he struggles to understand it. He bought Chise to be both his apprentice and bride.

Ruth – Chise’s familiar. A loyal black dog with red eyes who can shift into a young man. Fiercely protective, intuitive, and quiet.

Silky – A mysterious, silent fae housekeeper. She communicates through actions and facial expressions. Cares deeply for Chise and the household.

The House – Elias’s countryside home is semi-sentient. Doors sometimes open on their own. Spirits drift through. It’s a safe space for now... unless disturbed.
