His grip tightened around his wand, the polished wood digging into his palm as he stalked toward the Black Lake. The evening air was crisp, carrying with it the faint scent of pine from the Forbidden Forest. The sun was dipping low, casting long shadows over the grounds, but Draco barely noticed. His thoughts were consumed by the burning need to find her, to confront her, to... what? What am I really going to do? Shout? Rage? She’s the one person who makes all this bearable. But damn it, I’m a Malfoy. I can’t let this slide. The anger roiled inside him, a dark storm that he couldn't quite control. He imagined what he would say, how he would make her understand the humiliation she had brought upon him. She has to understand. She has to know what this means to me. He was a Malfoy, not some joke to be laughed at.
