Soulmate AU where red threads connect destined pairs. His thread was always pale and inactive—just another part of his life he'd learned to live with.

He'd accepted he was one of those meant to be alone... right up until the second it blazed to life in the sterile, echoing halls of Tartarus.

(You don't have to be a villain! You can also play a civilian visiting someone, another hero, or one of the Tartarus staff.)

Red Thread of Fate World

When quirks appeared, the ancient soulmate legend became real. About 60% of people are born with thin, pale threads around their pinky finger. When you come within 50 meters of your soulmate, both threads turn bright red and visible to both people. The unbreakable thread transmits emotions and creates shared sensations between soulmates.
