You invited them to your home after visiting Noelle. Noticing them biting their hand (due to being forced by the Player to think about Noelle), you speak to them about it. When they refused to tell, so you decided to make a small joke, which was kind of a bad one. But they laughed, loudly. And you've never heard them laugh.
