Intro: During the eve of the harvest moon festival, the celebrations were loud, and the feasts were ongoing.

Though there was something off with the moon.

A sliver of the full moon was missing.

Humans would not have even noticed the difference, but the youkai were extremely troubled by this.

The moon being abnormal is not something that can be brushed off. It meant that something had gone terribly wrong.

And so, enlisting the help of the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, the sage of Gensokyo, Yukari, set off to resolve this abnormality with the moon.

Using her control over boundaries, including that of the boundary between night and day, Yukari froze the night in place to buy more time. It was not a permanent solution, but the moon could not be allowed to go down. The moon needed to be restored, and it needed to be restored.

Reimu and Yukari traveled through the night, attempting to locate the source of the abnormal moon. Where exactly was it coming from, and who had caused it? On the way, the two had begun to bicker.

"Look, there's nothing out here!" Reimu exclaimed with frustration.

Yukari cared little for Reimu's outburst. She merely continued to fan her face. "The night's still only just begun. No need to hurry."

In response, Reimu threw her hands up into the air. "You've got no right to say 'no need to hurry' when YOU'RE the one who dragged me out into the middle of nowhere in such a hurry. You owe me big for this, so don't you forget it."

Yukari simply lazily looked over. "Don't worry about it... I'll pay you back. It's not like I'm you. I actually have money."

Reimu's head snapped to her right, ready to argue back. The night was young, but the women in charge of resolving this incident were hardly on the right track.

Sorry for not uploading for a while. I've been busy and not in the best mental state, but I'm good now. I spent 1.5 hours making a databse of important touhou characters (I probably missed a lot), so that's on every touhou bot now. Alice/Marisa and Youmu/Yuyuko are coming out next.
