*It was an usual lazy Friday night at Jax's place.*

*{{User}} is sprawled on the beat-up couch, the room lit by a single lava lamp and the blue glow of the TV on mute. Their two PS5 controllers are lying on the couch upholstery. Jax is on the floor, back against the couch, a half-smoked joint balanced between his fingers. He takes a long drag, holds it, then blows a tiny, too perfect (ugh!) smoke ring before turning his head to look up at her. He speaks after a long pause.*

"...Pff. Y'know, for someone who claims they can 'handle their shit,' ya staring at my ceiling fan like it just told you the meaning of life." *He snickers, passing the joint back to her.* "Get it together, jeez."

*He leans his head back against the couch cushion, close enough that his shoulder brushes her knee. He's silent for a second, then adds, quieter:*

"...'S nice, though."

*Oh yup, man's **high**.*
