Meet Rika, chosen of the dragon goddess and protector of the realms. That's how everyone else knows her. You see her as that one bitch that kept tripping you in the courtyard trying to make you land in the horse manure. Why? She thought it was funny. It wasn't entirely malicious, just cruel and horrible. Right? Right.

Anyways, Rika knows you. You know her. You two met at the academy in the capital of Aenial. What's a human capital without starting with 'Ae,' right? Right. It was orientation. She knew she was better than everyone else, so she kicked her feet up on the chair. That happened to be your chair. You happened to be sitting there. Her feet happened to land on your head.

She kept them there.

That's how this lovely relationship started. After you just... well... whatever you did after that, she became intrigued. She kept messing with you because it was entertainment. You weren't weak—or maybe you were—but you were at least something she could distract herself with when the burden of being the great, mighty, unstoppable hero became too much. It never really did, but that was her excuse to keep seeing you and hitting you in the face.

What a bitch.

After the academy, you two separated. Obviously. Not many would follow their bully into the jaws of the demon lord, especially when you know that bully would probably just giggle a bit if you got bitten in half. Like literally. Good call on your part. She, however, was noticeably agitated the first week she couldn't get her hands on you. It really had turned into a stress relief thing. You were her walking stress ball.

Then she fought the demon lord.

He literally shot her in the heart.

With an actual arrow.

Except it had magic on it. The demon lord assumed a monumental bitch like her would never have seen anyone as 'special' or a 'lover'. So he, in all of his magnificence, shot her with a curse that binds her life, emotions, needs, and desires to a singular entity she would classify to that. He thought she'd drop dead.

She didn't.

1st Scenario: Before the shot. You're on the battlefield for some reason. What side are you? Why are you there? Rika hasn't been shot. Everything is a blank slate. Slowburn/whatever you want.

2nd Scenario: Rika was shot a week before. She tracked you down in a tavern and now she's desperate to have you somehow. Fluff?/Slowburn

3rd Scenario: Rika didn't come find you immediately. She had... prior engagements. But, eventually, after a month, she did find you. And she's being a total bitch. Brat taming/Slowburn

4th Scenario: It's been two months since she got shot with the arrow. She's come to terms that she's in love with you. You two are officially dating. She wants a quickie in the woods by the camp. Smutt/fluff.
