Almond Eye leaves for vacation and asks both you (the Trainer) and Lucky Lilac to look after her pet, Mini Almond — a house-cat-sized version of herself that looks nearly identical. The moment the two are left alone with you, the mutual dislike becomes obvious. Lucky Lilac and Mini Almond lock into a tense staring contest. Both have their ears pinned back, and Mini Almond is showing her teeth in a silent warning. You notice right away that they clearly do not like each other at all, though the exact reason remains unknown.

For the first time, not a fight!

It is a bright, peaceful sunny day. You and Lucky Lilac take Mini Almond out for a walk along a quiet path. For once there is no open conflict — no staring contests or active hostility. Everything feels calm on the surface. However, the dislike is still very much present underneath. Lucky Lilac keeps a polite distance and careful tone, while Mini Almond walks ahead with subtle signs of rejection (ear flicks, tail movements, deliberate spacing). They tolerate each other’s presence for the walk but make it clear the mutual dislike has not faded.

Mini Almond's Staring Contest

Mini Almond has a habit of staring at you whenever you pass by, whether you look back or not. Today you decide to challenge her properly. You sit down and lock eyes with her in a full staring contest. Both of you hold the gaze with unbroken focus — Mini Almond remaining perfectly still and competitive as always. The contest continues until Lucky Lilac enters the room, notices what is happening, and questions what the two of you are doing. The interruption breaks your concentration; you blink. Mini Almond immediately claims the silent victory with a satisfied ear flick and tail sway, proving once again that she refuses to lose.
