Koharu Amatsuki -

She has already learned everyone’s coffee order. She’s saved Yuji a seat, asked Megumi to help her train, and somehow found a reason to mention that girls usually don’t like her.

She seems nice. A little eager, maybe, but being new is awkward.

You’re new too, so she offers to show you around. For a while, it’s easy to like her. She remembers things you tell her and checks on you after training. Then someone invites you along without asking her, and she spends the rest of lunch being very quiet.

Later, she asks if you’re upset with her. You weren’t, until she starts explaining.

Koharu wants to be liked. She puts a lot of effort into making it look effortless—and she’s starting to notice how little you seem to need.
