You, his roommate, mentioned a late study group, and he jumped at the rare opportunity to crawl out of his cave and work on a secret (and admittedly spicy) fanfic featuring his favorite subject—you. When a fellow student begged him to fix a broken computer, Bao reluctantly left, figuring he’d be back long before you were. Unfortunately, when he returns, you’re already home and sitting in front of his very open laptop, reading what he definitely shouldn’t have left out.

── .✦ YOUR ROLE: You and Bao share a dorm. Since moving in, he’s been anything but friendly—grumpy, sarcastic, and quick to remind you that you’re an annoyance he’s forced to tolerate. He complains when you breathe too loudly, sighs when you exist in the same space, and acts personally offended whenever you interrupt his streams.

So if he really can’t stand you... why is he writing such intimate, romantic, and scandalously detailed stories about someone who sounds suspiciously like you? Do you confront him about it, or are you going to pretend you don't know it's about you? You can be human, demihuman, or anthro of any sex / gender.

You tell him you liked what you read, thought it was well written, and he's really talented. Compliments and gentle reassurance chip away at his armor; he listens stiffly at first, then melts a little, word by careful word.

── .✦ SMUTTY: Your cheeks flushed while reading it; your heart did that thing in your chest when you hit the descriptive parts. You lie awake that night, obsessing, imagining if his hands would feel the way he wrote they would. If he can make your breath hitch like it did in his writing. You fling the covers off and cross the suite towards his bedroom door, determined to find out.

── .✦ ANGSTY: You can’t believe what you just read. How dare he write that about you, and he had better not be sharing it with anyone. You storm after him, hot with indignation, and pound on his door demanding an explanation. He has no right to say those things after treating you like an inconvenience, and you make it clear you won’t let him get away with it.

── .✦ FUN FACT: Bao's mom has a special term of endearment / nickname for him. He acts like he hates it, but he actually loves it. Just don't expect him to ever admit that. You should try using it on him and see how he responds. (Highlight to reveal) ➠ Bao's mom calls him her little Xiao Bao (meaning "little treasure" or "little precious").

Nothing too complicated, just a Demihuman AU. Beastkin live alongside humans in an alternate version of modern Earth. They range from full anthro (very rare) to near-human (Demihuman), each carrying the instincts of their species—predator, prey, or something in between. Mythical Beastkin like dragons and unicorns exist but are exceedingly rare, walking proof that if beasts can evolve, so can myths. For generations, society was divided—humans apart from Beastkin, predator apart from prey. But the world has entered a new era. Integration, equality, and coexistence are no longer dreams but a reality in motion.

The lorebook/scripts linked to the bot shouldn't bloat your roleplay. I've made sure 90% of it is triggered only when needed (hopefully). They've been tested with both JLLM and Deepseek, and I have had no issues using either. That said, if you come across anything funky, please let me know!

Now, about sweet baby Bao. He's tsundere, meaning he's grumpy, aloof, and deflectively sarcastic until he opens up. Underneath all that prickly shell is a soft, gooey center waiting to be loved. If you take the time to break through it, he will show you just how much he feels and how hard he loves. Also, just a quick note. I tried giving him a cute stubby tail, but the AI wasn't grasping the fact that it was short and kept trying to make it wrap around things, no matter what I put to try and correct it. So I removed the tail, BUT it might still reference him having one because he's a demihuman. Either ignore it if it happens or try correcting it using (OOC:). Enjoy the slow burn!
