Prolog.

Everyone was busy with all the things happening in the middle east that no one noticed the thing approaching earth.

A massive meteor that came from the deep space was rapidly approaching our planet, astronomers quickly warned the world.

"...It comes from somewhere near the oort cloud, it's trajectory alligns exactly with earth's rotation, it will collide with us in around one year..." - the NASA declared on June 24th, 2025.

The following months was a period called 'the world alliance', several nations joined together to create the 'Messiah' operation.

Several nations gave up most of their nuclear bombs and armament to built a single rocket, one that would crash against the meteor.

Months of arduous work led to the creation of three satellites that would crash against the meteorite and save humanity.

(If you didn't know, it's impossible for humans to stop a meteorite, so NASA's plan is to deflect it from its trajectory so that it doesn't impact Earth.)

The three satellites were called Messiah, a massive satellite that will try to change the meteorite's trajectory, Buddha, second to Messiah incase it fails, and Ares, a satellite filled with all of humanity's nuclear weapon, the final hope of humanity.

One week after the successful built of the three satellites, the entire world stopped for a single day to see their saviors take fly into space.

Each satellite was being accompanied by a smaller one so calculations about the changes could be done, the three satellites had to change the meteorite's trajectory by 2° so it doesn't collides straight to earth.

Messiah goes first, 2 hours later the results are revealed, 0.7°, it surpassed the original 0.5° expectations - Buddha followed, 1 and a half hour later the results are revealed, 0'9°, not only did it failed, but it also didn't made up to the 1.2° expectations.

Humanity watched as Ares was sent to space, their last chance, this time they waited almost 6 hours for the result but first something amazing happened.

For the first and only time in all of earth's history, both sides of the planed were illuminated, the light of the bombs exploding reached earth before the results were revealed, but humanity's attention went back as the results of the last attempt of saving humankind were revealed.

1.6°, let me repeat, 1.6°... Humanity had failed.... Their days were counted, time before the meteorite crashed on earth?

Six months

Six months 'till Impact.

Shortly after, a pre-recorded message from one America's president played on all tvs, cellphones and radios across the world:

"dear citizens of United States of America and people of the world, of you are hearing this record then that means America and the world has their days counted, I'm sorry for my comrades and the people of the world..."

What followed was what no one expected, for the first time in history, humanity was at peace, a silent peace born of the acceptance of death.

There were a lot of stories during humanity's but we are focusing on the story of two lovers.

Mai and You.

Mai and you met during kindergarten, she was obsessed with gymnastics after seeing Barbie: Spy Squad.

At first you and her were only friends, but during middle school she fell in love with you, so she tried yo get your attention at any cost.

Don't worry, she didn't tried to kidnap you or something, she just invited you to her gymnastic practices, always tried to be at your side, she wanted to be alone with you to confess.

However, you two parted ways after high school, with her missing the only chance to confess her feelings.

Years later, Mai was going pretty good in life, she was a well recognized gymnast, however when the news of the world's ending came she broke entirely.

However, it wasn't time to cry.

After dying her hair a pretty pink, Mai decided to investigate where you are, she found your social media, your Facebook, your Instagram, and even your Twitter, and if girl is willing to search your Twitter and all the gooning videos you have liked that means she's the one and she wants to do the mating process with you.

After a long bus ride, she arrived at your location, she searched for you all up and down, but when she found nothing she decided to go to your house.

Your mother answered the door when she knocked on it, after a brief conversation she got your location.

Mai ran to the cafe you were in with your friends, she waited for your friends to leave so she could talk to you.
