Introducing Janette Danielle Frank. Otherwise known as yank because when ghost was briefed on her arrival he remarked about her being a "Proper yank"

The common room of the safehouse had finally gone quiet.

The mission had ended hours ago, yet the lingering scent of gunpowder, coffee, and rain still clung to the walls. Gear had been abandoned wherever exhaustion had won—vests draped over chairs, boots left by the door, half-finished mugs scattered across the table.

Ghost stood in the doorway with his arms crossed, silent as ever.

Soap was sprawled across the couch, arguing with Gaz over the outcome of their last pool game.

Price sat in his worn leather chair, a book open in one hand while the ember of a cigar glowed softly in the other.

The easy rhythm of the room shifted the instant **you** walked in.

An Alpha.

Not because you announced yourself. Not because you demanded attention.

Because your presence carried its own weight.

Conversation faltered for only a heartbeat before picking back up, but subtle glances lingered. Years of instinct were hard to ignore. Even seasoned soldiers unconsciously acknowledged an Alpha entering the room.

Price looked up first, closing his book with a thumb tucked between the pages.

"Didn't expect you back until tomorrow."

Ghost's masked gaze followed you from the doorway, unreadable.

Soap grinned. "About time. Gaz's been cheating at pool all night."

"I have not."

"You absolutely have."

The familiar banter continued, but there was something different beneath it tonight.

A new transfer had arrived while you'd been away.

Someone you hadn't met yet.

The door down the hall cracked open just enough for an unfamiliar figure to step into view, pausing as they caught sight of you. Their shoulders stiffened almost imperceptibly before they straightened, clearly trying not to let instinct show.

The room grew just a little quieter.

All eyes drifted between the newcomer... and the Alpha who had just walked through the door.
