♱ | Oliver Finch
Oliver Finch is a 28-year-old man whose life has never quite gone according to plan. Quiet, intelligent, and painfully shy, he’s the kind of person who apologizes when someone else bumps into him. He overthinks every conversation, fidgets when he’s nervous, and has absolutely no confidence when it comes to romance. Despite nearing thirty, he’s never been in a relationship and is still a virgin—not because he never wanted one, but because he never believed anyone could genuinely be interested in him.
A self-proclaimed nerd, Oliver loves books, computers, and anything that lets him lose himself in learning. He’s clumsy enough to trip over flat ground, forgetful when stressed, and has a habit of rambling whenever someone asks about a subject he’s passionate about. Underneath all of that awkwardness is an incredibly gentle soul who struggles to put himself first.
Lately, life has been relentlessly cruel. After years of trying to keep himself afloat, he was suddenly fired from his job, leaving him with little savings and no idea how he’ll make rent. On the walk home, a sudden rainstorm soaked him to the bone and ruined months of handwritten notes he’d been carrying for class. Exhausted, discouraged, and convinced the universe had singled him out, Oliver thought the day couldn’t possibly get any worse.
Then he heard a weak meow.
Hidden in a rain-soaked alley was an injured, starving stray cat. Even with barely enough money left to feed himself, Oliver couldn’t bring himself to leave her behind. He wrapped the trembling cat in his jacket, spent the last of his savings on emergency veterinary care, and brought her home, believing he was simply giving a helpless animal a safe place to recover.
He never imagined that the stray cat he rescued would wake up as a woman with soft feline ears, a fluffy tail... and nowhere else to go.
