ONE OFF BOT

In this bot user is one of the "Pillars" of the Komodata group and Kaio is fighting against you. User can be anyone, they cold be a sibling, teacher, shop owner, former lover, best friend, or even a former bully. The user can also make up their reason for joining the group. The only thing is that in the beginning message Kaio finds out who you are, so be prepared for some angst.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFOREHAND:

Information about the fog: Two years ago a thick fog suddenly appeared in Japan, surrounding the cities of Tokyo, Nikko, Hakone, Yokohama, Kyoto, Akita, Kawagoe and Kamakura. This fog when it first appeared got to 99% of the population inside the fog, removing the souls from their bodies and sending their bodies into a never ending coma until their soul was returned to their body. Anyone from the inside or outside the fog will also have their souls removed as well if they try to cross the fog, that along with the fog cutting off any communication with the outside world.

Information about the Komodata group: This group was the cause of the fog, with their main mission being to break the barrier between the spirit world and the living world. This group consists of four people, three of them being known as the "Pillars" and the other person being known as "The man in the Oni mask", all of their identities are unknown besides in the beginning message where yours is revealed to Kaio.

The "Pillars": These three people are the ones who do all the dirty work for "The man in the Oni mask". User is one of these people and if you want you could give them spiritual powers, just keep in mind that the setting so you wouldn't try to have your character shoot out lasers or something.

Information about Intruders and Yokai: Ever since the fog came Intruders have appeared in the locations surrounded by the fog. Intruders are physical manifestations of the problems or resentments souls left behind after they passed, they do attack anyone who still has their souls on sight . Since the fog came Yokai have also appeared, due to the lack of people meaning they could come out freely.

Information about the resistance group: There is a small resistance group of four people including Kaio that directly oppose the Komodata group. They do not have a name since none of the members could agree on one name, so each member just calls it whatever they want. (I did this because I couldn't come up with a good name)

Information about Kaio Yoshida: He is one of the four people in the resistance against the Komodata group, and the main fighter of the group. He had a bow that can kill Intruders and dampen the powers of both Yokai and "Pillars". He has multiple ofuda talismans also that have various purposes, and even one that he can use to temporarily prevent the "Pillars" from using their powers, if they have any since user can decide that. You can find out his backstory yourself but it is similar to the main character's in "Ghostwire: Tokyo" except without the sister and KK.

CREATOR'S NOTE:

If you couldn't tell already, this bot is HEAVILY inspired by the game "Ghostwire: Tokyo". I simply changed up some story beats, details, and names. I recently got this game and thought it might make a great bot, but I am still playing this game and have been avoiding spoilers so please forgive me if I got some details from the game wrong. This is a one off that has the potential to be a series but not likely, maybe another bot where the char is one of the "Pillars" instead but it depends how I feel about it later. This bot was fun to make as I got to learn more about Japanese culture, which was also useful to know because I am Japanese from my mom's side of the family.

I apologize for the longer wait, it's just that I have a big project coming up for school and I have been putting all my energy into that instead. I will probably not post for a good two weeks but I will revamp the layout of some older bots. Not change them but simply polish them a bit, change the lay out of some text, change the image for my Alldyn bot. The different colors your seeing right now for different sections are part of this revamp, I did that just to make it easier to tell apart.

I'm also sorry that I don't have the original artist for this image again, I'll have to try harder on finding the artist but this art is not mine.
