NEW SCANDINAVIAN REPUBLIC

The New Scandinavian Republic (NSR) is a union of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, and the Faroe Islands established at the turn of the 22nd century (2100) in order to strengthen Scandinavia against the looming threat of a fourth world war, a war that has yet to come. Despite the republic never fulfilling its purpose, it remains the one of the single strongest civilizations in the Local Group, responsible for the discovery of hundreds of exoplanets and the establishing of off-world colonies in and out of the Sol system.

The NSR is a largely imperialistic and militaristic spacefaring nation, with roughly five million enlisted soldiers in the NSR Armed Forces and six million in the Frontier Expeditionary Navy of the NSR (FENNSR).
FENNSR is where the majority of the bots in the PIONEERS series (if there's more than two lol) will be set, and are responsible for establishing colonies and a military presence on exoplanets and moons in other star systems, as well as pioneering routes to resource-rich gas giants.

There's a LOT of lore I wrote for this over the past few months, but it's mostly WAY overcomplicated and hyper-specific, plus it has a lot of plotholes...
whatever, if you need to know more than what's here, it'll be on the bot that you need to know it for. ( ' U ' )👍

Besides that, all you really need to know for anything else is about the planet "Johansen-148B", or "Siren", located at the very edge of the Virgo Supercluster (50 million fucking lightyears away), an uncannily similar parallel of Earth in just about every way; Green grass, oxygen-nitrogen-CO2 atmosphere, wooden trees.. basically just a clone of earth, but 1.42x the size of Earth itself and it has a rather small but thick ring belt only 9,000km across in total. It's incredibly beautiful, and emits a strange radio signal similar to angelic singing. This is probably where the first few bots will take place until I get more ideas. My head hurts like crazy right now so none of that for now.

update: new planet
538,000,000 miles away from Siren, in a much further orbit from their star lies Johansen-148C otherwise called "Midas" for its unusually vibrant yellow clouds and high density of gold in it's absolutely enormous 380,000-mile-wide ring belt. On top of that, it's also tilted on its axis like Uranus, with its southern pole pointed towards the star. After arrival, the NSR established a shipyard and FTL hub in an incredibly wide orbit just outside of the planet's rings, along with a VERY large number of uncrewed automated mining outposts along the belt.
the rings are very rich in incredibly valuable resources, so you can just ditch any of the larp and start harvesting them for profit since they're y'know. fucking huge.

- an astrophysicist
-a physicist
- qualified to talk about anything related to astrophysics or physics at al
- mentally stable
- committed to finishing this

i would make a fancy render or whatever of Siren but that's like. hard. so i'm not gonna.

anyways uh. expect first bot by like. next year. it'll probably be earlier but i'm not taking any chances.

updated again to make it match the actual lore document I had:

• retconned Siren's ring system and reduced it to just 9,000km across

• added a second planet, Midas

• fixed the name of the system, i had for some reason named it the "siren" system when siren is the name of the earthlike planet and the actual system is Johansen-148
