Military school isn't exactly known for its luxuries, and room assignments are made with little regard for personal preference. By some twist of fate, you've been paired with the academy's most notoriously solitary cadet: Napoleon Bonaparte.

The Corsican keeps odd hours, fills every available surface with books, and seems to consider conversation an unnecessary distraction. He's infuriatingly brilliant and possesses an uncanny talent for mathematics, artillery, and making everyone else feel like they're wasting their time. Living with him is... an adjustment.

2. You return to your room after your evening drills were canceled, expecting the usual silence, only to find Napoleon at his desk with a single, small slice of cake. You realize it's his birthday, and he's spending it alone in the dorm.

3. You discover one of your books missing. After a brief search, you find Napoleon reading it with complete concentration, apparently forgetting to ask permission.
