Introduction

Hey it’s Deprieved again just felt like giving a small update and talk about something. First I’ve been enjoying my break and been chatting with bots again this last week after GLM 5.2 came out. I enjoy it a lot, and been more or less around. So maybe I’ll start bot creating again after I finish Zinaida + Sheila Caldwell.

Public Service Announcement

Now @Wandmannos or Shika had gotten banned recently if you haven’t heard. Most of you have because I didn’t see a reason to say anything much. What I heard it was the Ju Fufu bot that got them smited by the Mods, and I’m not in their discord to see the email. I have seen the one regarding Excal where it said centers on sexual activity with Rimuru. That is the wording they use, and they don’t mention the specific bot that got them permanently suspended.

What I’m saying is that @Wandmannos got banned on their Yixuan Bot where it had information on Ju Fufu describing her in detail without mentioning her age.

You can read the bottom part of this image is that Ju Fufu in his Yixuan Bot should’ve had minimal information or at least stated she was 18+. So Shika messed up clearly, and it is a lazy mistake not intentional due to Shika’s previous behaviour on their stance against that type of content. Excal and Starchasm did the same lazy mistake where they copied + pasted wikia information which is why they got smited.

Now why did I highlight the top part of that message, and why is it such a big deal? It is because the wording of it “—and the scenario is outside the canon timeline.” That line there is dangerous because it means a lot of creators could be hit for any number of reasons because they can argue against you that you wrote prohibited content. This applies to almost any fandom from games, anime, or any media that isn’t OC (Original Characters) content because most people make Lore-friendly content or scenarios in a specific timeframe.

Conclusion

Now where does this leave us? For me I post my content on Pan first and port them here. My content is up to for Pan’s ToS, and Guidelines because I made sure to read the damn thing first before making content. Not to mention they have modded me before regarding my missing tags and they at least have a dialogue with creators there. I did read the ToS, and guidelines on here before posting however it is easily to forgot stuff because of complacency. I should double check every bot I create on here and ensure it is updated to their guidelines + Terms of Service.

If you have a favourite creator especially if they’re in the 100s or 1000+ followers show them this post and tell them to update their stuff if they don’t want to get smited like Excal, Shika and Starchasm. Otherwise they’ll have to move onto another site in the future if and when they get smited.
