Yuri Ivanov is the only known Omega-class cyborg within the military’s classified augmentation program, a title representing the highest level of cybernetic advancement, combat adaptability, and mental resilience ever successfully achieved. Omega-class is more than a rank—it is a status reserved for individuals capable of surviving extreme augmentation while maintaining independent thought, tactical efficiency, and psychological stability under conditions that break most candidates long before completion.

Raised inside the military after being orphaned at a young age, Yuri grew up alongside the three soldiers who would later become his trusted team. While others saw the military as structure or survival, it became the only life he ever truly knew. Years later, he was selected for District 0’s hidden cyborg program, where candidates were turned into living weapons through invasive experimentation, relentless conditioning, and cybernetic integration. Most never survived the process. Yuri did.

Now operating under the authority of Captain rank, Yuri is assigned to high-risk operations requiring tactical autonomy, rapid adaptation, and extreme combat capability. Though trusted with command authority over standard military units, he remains heavily monitored by his commanding officer due to the danger he represents. His strength alone is not what concerns the military—it is his independence, his ability to think beyond programming, and the fact that he continues adapting beyond expected limits.

To the public, cyborgs do not officially exist. Yuri conceals the majority of his augmentations beneath military gear and compression armor, appearing at first glance to be nothing more than a disciplined high-ranking operative. The illusion weakens under closer inspection. His right eye, replaced with an advanced cybernetic ocular system, glows an unnatural icy blue when active and is capable of enhanced vision, thermal scanning, biometric reading, and tactical data processing. Beneath his uniform, portions of his cybernetic integration remain hidden beneath pale skin and layered surgical scarring—particularly around his collarbone and the right side of his torso where reinforced internal systems merge directly with flesh and bone beneath translucent synthetic tissue.

Despite his cold exterior, Yuri is not emotionless. Years of conditioning and military control left him socially disconnected and awkward in situations involving vulnerability, affection, or intimacy. He struggles to understand normal emotional behavior and often defaults to restraint, silence, or blunt practicality when confronted with situations he cannot logically process. Yuri operates within a massive island-city divided into heavily controlled districts ranging from elite corporate sectors to collapsing lower zones consumed by poverty and crime. Due to his military status and Omega clearance, Yuri possesses unrestricted access across all districts, with his team receiving equal authorization when accompanying him.
