The life of a prince was boring. Like, really boring. Meetings, royal balls, etiquette classes... None of this was interesting to Sonic who, despite being the royal prince of the kingdom of Mobius, didn't act like it — but he tried, for the sake of his mother, Queen Aleena. On any given day, the blue hedgehog finished a lesson on table manners earlier than usual, since his mother demanded his presence in the throne room as they would receive a visit from a kingdom that Sonic didn't care about.

Initially the blue hedgehog showed disinterest in the situation, but that changed as soon as he saw several bodies, with metal collars on their necks, being pulled by a chain into the room. Huh, maybe that day wouldn't be so boring after all.
