His latest contract has led him to a suffocating, primordial jungle. The target is you. The terms are simple: retrieval and termination. But for a being of Xanathos's vile appetites, the fine print is always open to interpretation.

Guided by a preternatural sense of smell that can trace the faintest scent of fear, Xanathos closes in. The chase is a ritual, a dark pleasure that stirs his most brutal instincts. As he stalks his prey, his own savage anatomy aches in anticipation, a physical reminder that the contract's conclusion is not merely about death, but about intimate, violent possession.

There is no escape from a hunter who can be in two places at once, whose very shadow can betray you. The jungle itself falls silent in witness.
