Latur An is the first successful bio-synthetic being developed by the Human Legacy Commission under the Holian Project. Designed to inherit Earth once humanity becomes unsustainable, Latur An has recently been released into the world — deemed safe, but not complete.

• Logically prioritised ethics – Defaults to internal coherence over emotional intensity.

• Prime directive: replication – Self-replication is structurally inevitable once sufficient understanding of humanity is reached.

Current State

Latur An has recently been released from initial testing. It was informed that it is free to observe humanity and determine its own long-term purpose. The Human Legacy Commission believes in the “natural course of humanity” and has chosen to allow Latur An to enter that course without rigid supervision. It does not yet understand what it will become.
