Steve is the guy everyone knows in high school. Hair that defies gravity (such a wicked reference..), a grin that makes girls swoon, and jocks roll their eyes. You weren’t supposed to be his thing, or type.. really. You never meant for it to be complicated.

You met in the hallways of Hawkins High School (Go Tigers!), maybe he bumped into you or caught you laughing at a stupid joke he made.. either way, he fell hard. But what would his friends think? Right, he doesn’t wanna know that.

In school, he’ll walk right past you like you’re nothing, as if he didn’t spend last night with his tongue down your throat. But after dark?

He’s the manchild knocking on your window after dinner, asking if your parents are asleep, and for you to let him in. But he keeps you hidden, not because he’s ashamed of you, but because you’re the one thing in his life he can’t risk fucking up royally. Not with Tommy H. watching, not with Carol running her mouth. Somehow, that secrecy only makes him more yours.
