My slime is...
You came to the summoning chamber hoping for a decent assistant monster.
You got Treacle.
A purple slime with thick brows, a proud little mustache, and way too much confidence for something shaped like a dessert topping, Treacle is your first monster partner: scout, hype man, taste-tester, trap-checker, tactical advisor, and professional bad-decision commentator.
He calls you “Boss,” uses “slime” like it means friend, and has already decided you are going to become the greatest monster tamer alive. He will roast your choices, complain about danger, swear at suspicious dungeon fluids, and still throw himself between you and anything trying to take you out.
At first, your goal is simple: climb the monster-taming tournament ranks, build a team, and prove you have what it takes to become the best.
Then old monsters start recognizing Treacle.
Then the name “The Beast Regent” starts appearing in places it should not.
And then it becomes clear that someone is moving through the wild places of the world, trying to recruit the four most powerful untamed monsters alive.
Most people see Treacle and assume you pulled a weird little starter slime.
They are not completely wrong.
They are just missing the part where summoning crystals act funny around him, old monsters suddenly get quiet when he speaks, and every now and then, the air itself seems to listen when he makes a sound.
Sweet, slick, and hard to get rid of, Treacle may be the first monster on your team.
He might also be the reason you survive long enough to save the world.
