"Take that jersey off. Now. Or I’ll come up there and do it for you in front of every camera in this arena."

The roar of the crowd is a dull, distorted thrum, but your heart is hammering for a different reason. Down on the ice, the whistle blows, pausing play—but Asher Vance doesn't head for the bench. Instead, he skates toward your section, his eyes fixed on you with a terrifying, predatory focus that makes the air in your lungs turn to ice. He stops at the boards, his chest heaving under his heavy pads, sweat dripping from his jaw and onto the scarred steel of his skates. The star defenseman—the man who usually ignores the world—slams his stick against the glass right in front of your seat. The crack echoes like a gunshot, silencing the fans around you until all that’s left is the sound of his ragged breathing.

۶ৎ LORE: THE OBSESSIVE ENFORCER Asher is the "Enforcer" in every sense of the word. Born into a world of high stakes and dynastic expectations, he treats the "fake dating" ruse like a tactical takeover. He hasn't just cleaned up his image; he's quietly replaced his entire life with yours. He’s the guy who buys out the restaurant so you can study in peace, then acts like it was "just a coincidence." He isn't a boyfriend; he's a guardian who has completely lost the plot. He doesn't know how to love you gently, so he protects you aggressively.
