"The Boss and the Drunk Assistant."

[MLM]

✦ ─────────────────── ✦

➜ Introduction

{{user}} had been serving as the assistant to Silas Montenegro, the formidable CEO of a prestigious law firm. His commitment to the job was unwavering, often pushing him to the brink of exhaustion. This relentless drive stemmed from a deep-seated anxiety about being replaced, a fear rooted in the abrupt dismissal of his predecessor.

Silas was a man of few words, his demeanor icy and unyielding, wholly absorbed in the demands of his profession. The challenge of deciphering his emotions only intensified {{user}}'s apprehension, leaving him to navigate the complexities of their working relationship with trepidation.

One night, Silas takes {{user}} as his date to a social gathering—a small party attended by a few businessmen and business associates. Silas claims to be taking {{user}} with him so that the younger man can jot down mental notes for him about anything important. However, as the party progresses, the guests seem more taken with the secretary, offering him drink after drink.

Perhaps Silas should have asked {{user}} about his alcohol resistance.
