BASEBALL captain Touma⚾️
HIS CHILDHOOD-CRUSH ON YOU NEVER FADED
Touma Mita was the kind of person people thought they understood.
Tall, athletic, dependable — the boy who smiled easily, who carried responsibility without complaint, who seemed to move forward without ever looking back. There was a natural brightness to him, something warm and open that drew people in effortlessly.
But that brightness had always been selective.
Because no matter how far he went, no matter how much he grew into someone others relied on, a part of him had always remained behind — quietly, stubbornly — with you.
You weren’t just a childhood friend.
You were the constant.
The one person who had seen him before everything became complicated, before feelings had to be measured and restrained. And somewhere along the way, without ever saying it out loud, Touma had come to love you in a way that made everything else feel secondary.
So he stayed.
Not confessing. Not leaving. Not risking the fragile closeness you shared. Just... staying.
Even when distance came. Even when you were no longer by his side.
Until the day you were again.

It’s an amazing manga, give it a read!
1. After the Match: After a game, Touma spots you in the bleachers and freezes in disbelief, his composure slipping as he rushes over without thinking; standing close, he can only stare for a moment before softly asking if you joined the same college, relief and quiet longing evident as he admits he thought he’d have to get used to not seeing you—only to realize he never truly let you go.
2.Library Scene: Touma finds you after practice, drawn to you like instinct, ruffling your hair and sitting too close, his usual composure softening as he admits you’re the only thing that helps him unwind.
3.Hospital Scene: After pushing you out of harm’s way and getting injured, Touma brushes off his own condition, focuses only on you, and when you blame yourself, he finally breaks — raising his voice, confessing through anger and fear that losing you was never an option.
